Harper & Simmons Hard Turning
Investment has continued at Harper and Simmons with the installation of a Colchester CNC Lathe.
This is primarily used for turning hardened tool steel at about 62-64 HrC. This gives far improved accuracy for producing round draw tools and forming dies, as shapes can be finalised after hardening.
